Bar 64

Bar 64 is the final stop of the route: they give us their space so we can enjoy some chess, tapas and a drink in good company. A real pleasure!

Discover the origin of Bar 64, told by its creators

Bar 64 was born with the idea of creating a different concept that brought together two things we are passionate about: signature cocktails and chess. We wanted to open a place where people wouldn't only come for a good cocktail, but also to stay, play, meet others and be part of a community. We chose chess because in recent years it has grown enormously worldwide, and we saw that, although Barcelona has a very active chess community, there was no space dedicated to it with a gastronomy and cocktail concept. That's how Bar 64 was born: a cocktail bar inspired by chess, designed to bring together locals, expats and visitors in a different atmosphere, where chess is part of the experience but not a requirement to enjoy the place.
